PARA-SITES PROBE investigated the nature of improvising in place, in this instance it explored ‘re-positioning’ a previous installation to a new context. Just as one can peek at the city through television, cinema, literature or an event, there exists a metaphysical city within each viewer and participant. A condition characterized by confusion and excess arouses a consciousness that might otherwise remain sedentary. Instead of being weighed down, this consciousness is characterized by lightness and a sensation of being afloat or adrift. PARA-SITES PROBE is a peek into this conscioussness.
